    Can we have exclusive use of the ExplorHome properties for a wedding?

    Yes. Both La Ferme des Vignes and La Ferme d’Édouard are exclusively yours during your Stay. This means you can enjoy the accommodations, outdoor spaces, wellness facilities, and event venues in complete privacy.

    How many people can be accommodated on-site?

    La Ferme des Vignes has 13 suites that can accommodate up to 26 people.

    La Ferme d’Édouard offers 8 suites that can accommodate up to 16 people, providing the perfect setting for an intimate wedding in the Ardèche.

    Additional lodging options may also be available at our other nearby properties: La Ferme du Vallon and La Ferme de Beauregard.

    How many guests can you accommodate at your wedding?

    The Ferme des Vignes estate (with its reception hall and the option to set up an outdoor tent) can accommodate up to 100 guests; the reception hall can seat between 25 and 40 people, depending on the chosen arrangement of tables and chairs.

    Note: The tent is not included in the equipment provided by ExplorHome

    La Ferme d’Édouard can seat 16 people in its spacious, light-filled living area.

    What are the arrival and departure times for a wedding?

    For weddings, we can adjust the arrival and departure times to accommodate your vendors’ setup, equipment delivery, and event preparations.

    We simply ask that you let us know your arrival and departure times, as well as any special needs you may have, as soon as possible so that we can make the best possible arrangements for your stay.

    Do you recommend any vendors for wedding planning?

    Yes. ExplorHome recommends a network of trusted local partners: photographers, florists, caterers, private chefs, and professional massage therapists. The ExplorHome team has carefully selected all of its partners to ensure the quality of their services.

    Are service providers subject to taxation?

    No. You are free to work with the professionals of your choice. If you’d like, we can also recommend local partners whom we’ve selected for their professionalism and creativity.

    Is it possible to hold a non-religious ceremony?

    Yes, both ExplorHome venues are ideal for hosting a non-religious ceremony in the Ardèche.

    More and more couples are choosing this type of ceremony to celebrate their union with complete freedom. Unlike a traditional ceremony, a non-religious ceremony isn’t bound by any set rules: you write the program yourselves. Speeches by loved ones, the exchange of vows, readings, music, symbolic rituals—such as the sand, tree, ribbon, or candle rituals—every moment is designed to tell your story and reflect your personalities.

    At La Ferme des Vignes, the expansive landscaped gardens and numerous outdoor spaces offer a variety of natural settings in which to plan a custom ceremony.

    At La Ferme d’Édouard,the intimate atmosphere, the gardens, the terrace, and the various living spaces make it possible to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place, for a seamless and welcoming wedding experience.

    Is parking allowed on the estates?

    Yes. Several parking options are available to make it easier for your guests and vendors to arrive.

    La Ferme des Vignes has an 11-space parking lot, as well as two charging stations for electric vehicles. La Ferme d’Édouard offers three covered parking spaces, in addition to several parking options in the courtyard.

    For events with a larger number of guests, an additional parking area—located about 100 meters from both estates—can accommodate about 40 additional vehicles.

    What kind of budget should you plan for when renting a wedding venue in Ardèche?

    The cost of renting a wedding venue in Ardèche varies depending on several factors: the venue you choose, the length of Stay, the season, the number of guests, and the services you want.

    Choosing a wedding venue that can be exclusively booked and offers accommodations allows you to combine the reception, ceremony, overnight stays, and relaxation time all in one place. This option simplifies the planning process and, above all, lets you extend your time with loved ones well beyond the big day.

    At La Ferme d’Édouard, wedding packages are available on weekends from early October through mid-April, starting at €1,590 per weekend. For a week-long private rental, expect to pay between €3,200 and €11,000, depending on the time of year.

    La Ferme des Vignes can host your wedding year-round, with exclusive use available for stays of two nights or more. Rates range from €5,000 to €18,000 per weekend, depending on the time of year and the details of your Stay.

    How far in advance should you book a wedding venue?

    We recommend booking your wedding venue in the Ardèche 12 to 18 months in advance, especially if you plan to get married between May and September or hold your reception on a Saturday. Planning this far in advance gives you a wider selection of dates to choose from and allows you to prepare for your wedding with peace of mind.

    But every project is unique. Some couples plan their weddings more than two years in advance, while others fall in love with an available date just a few months before the big day.

    If you’ve fallen in love with La Ferme des Vignes or La Ferme d’Édouard, our best advice is to contact us as soon as your plans start to take shape. Even if your date hasn’t been finalized yet, we can discuss your ideas with you, answer your questions, give you a tour of the venues, and help you plan your wedding.

    And sometimes, just reaching out is enough to discover an opportunity you might not have thought of.

    What happens in case of bad weather?

    The weather is one of the few things we can't control. That's why it's essential to choose a field that can adapt to any situation.

    At both La Ferme des Vignes and La Ferme d’Édouard, the indoor and outdoor spaces allow for various setups depending on the weather conditions. A ceremony can be rearranged, a cocktail reception moved, or a meal served indoors, without compromising the spirit of your wedding. Please note that the summer kitchens and pool houses at both venues are covered spaces. A tent can also be set up outdoors at the Ferme des Vignes (the tent is not included in the equipment provided by ExplorHome).

    By planning these different options in advance with your wedding planner or vendors, you’ll be able to enjoy your day with peace of mind. After all, the most cherished memories of a wedding don’t depend on the weather, but on the moments shared with the people you love.
